North Sails President and TV Commentary Team member, Ken Read gives his insider's view of the America's Cup:

OK, this is getting out of hand. The city is taking apart the grand stands. The cruise ship terminal has been taken back for functions planned years ago--not America's Cup-related. But there are still two boats going out to the race course today with no end in sight!

The forecast is for light air today, maybe only one race. Can Emirates Team New Zealand end it today and the take the Cup back home? They have been snake bitten a couple of times. Certainly the longer this goes on, the harder it must be for them to keep their confidence. On the other side of the coin, the longer this goes on, Oracle Team USA begins to believe more and more that they can defend the Cup.

On a personal note, I have paid for so many changes to my flight they are going to give me my own plane to go home. My wife Kathy and I are about to get kicked out of our rental apartment and I have to go racing in Europe in less than a week. Never to be seen by my daughter and dog again!

Please someone end this thing! But the drama is unreal!! It really is great for our sport, no matter what happens.

The score is now ETNZ-8; OTUSA-5. First team to 9 points wins the America's Cup.

Tune in (once again!) today at 4pm ET to NBC Sports Network for races #16 & #17 of the 34th America's Cup.
