Kiwi Karl Purdie leads OK Worlds warm-up event

After day 1 of the Warnemunde Week Regatta in Germany, which precedes the OK World Championship, Karl Purdie of New Zealand has taken the lead with two wins and a third. Purdie is two points clear of Denmark's Jorgan Lindhardtsen and three points ahead of third placed Mark Perrow of New Zealand.

Leading British competitor is Robert Deaves in eighth with a 10, 12, 15 scoreline. Defending OK World Champion, Nick Craig did not compete on day 1 of Warnemunde. The OK Worlds start on Monday 8 July.
