The Laser Standard Youth & Radial Men World Championships are underway in La Rochelle, France.

Day 4
Great sailing again today. NW wind of 14-16 knots increasing up to 18 knots later on. Two good races were run for all fleets. Qualifying series are now over after eight races for the Standards and seven races for the Radials.

The day finished with a very nice mid-week party next to the club house. Even the weather was cooperating as we had no 'liquid-sunshine' today.

No changes in the top spots of the leader boards. The provisional leaders in the Standard Youth fleet after eight races and one discard are:
1. Meech Sam, NZL
2. Mills-Burton Alex, GBR
3. Evans Martin, GBR

The provisional leaders in the Radial fleet after seven races and one discard as well are:
1. Rudawski Marcin, POL
2. Burman James, AUS
3. Hummel Yuri, NED

Day 3
Miserable day at the office, heavy rain and shifting breeze of 14-18 knots made conditions quite unpleasant. Only one race for all colours has been completed for the Radials and two races for the Standards.

The provisional leaders in the Standard Youth fleet after six races and one discard are:
1. Meech Sam, NZL
2. Mills-Burton Alex, GBR
3. Evans Martin, GBR

The provisional leaders in the Radial fleet after five races and one discard as well are:
1. Rudawski Marcin, POL
2. Burman James, AUS
3. Hummel Yuri, NED
