Australian luxury cruiser manufacturer Maritimo is gearing up for a full program of boat show displays in Europe and the USA in coming months and is confident of increased sales in a rising market.
Maritimo will be exhibiting in the US and Europe.
Sales and marketing manager, Greg Haines, said Maritimo has enjoyed strong sales and interest at the two major Australian shows this year, Sanctuary Cove and Sydney, and is now focusing its attention on the European and USA markets.
The first of these shows will be the Cannes International Boat Show in September. The award winning M58 cruising motoryacht, with its full beam master suite, will be on display in Cannes.
Mr Haines said that around the same time the Tampa Boat Show will be held in the USA and the M50 cruising motor yacht and C50 will be displayed by Maritimo USA.
'After Tampa we have the South Lake Union Seattle Boat Show from September 11 where we will be displaying the M50 Cruising Motoryacht, then there is the Norwalk Ct. Boat Show from September 19 where we will be displaying the C43 and then we gear up for the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show starting October 31,' he said.

'At Fort Lauderdale we will be displaying the M50, the M45 and the M58 and being one of the largest boat shows in the world we expect a strong result.'
Mr Haines said the feedback from both the USA and Europe Maritimo teams was more positive than had been in recent years.
Maritimo USA President Dave Northrop said he was ‘quietly confident’ about the upcoming shows in Tampa, Seattle, Norwalk and Fort Lauderdale.
'The luxury cruiser market has been slowly and quietly re-building after years of being in the doldrums post the GFC and we get a sense talking to people that they are regaining some confidence and looking to either upgrade or make their first boating lifestyle purchase,' he said.
'Maritimo has spent a great deal of time and effort on improving the product in both terms of quality, design and performance and that has not been lost on the boat buying public in the USA.
'Our products compare very favourably with the competition and in this age of fuel consciousness our race bred hull designs and leading edge engineering puts us ahead of the game.
'Our purchasers are astute people and they are well informed on what’s on offer in the marketplace so we have to stay on top to remain successful.'
Mr Northrop said the full beam master suites in the M58, the M50 and the S50 had all proven extremely popular with USA consumers.
Mr Haines said the European luxury cruiser market was bouncing back and he expected the M58 cruising motoryacht to be a big hit in Cannes.
'We have the special European model with aft crew quarters and a number of other specific additions suited to that market place and we are confident we will have a good show.'
He said interest at the recent Sydney International Boat Show had been across the full range of models on display. However, he said the M50 cruising motoryacht had been the ‘stand out’ performer.
