Dan Slater reports from the Open 60 O Canada having her first shakedown, after a major refit, in the Auckland Tauranga Race.

He sailed two handed with Ed Smyth, and they will be sailing two-handed in the Auckland Fiji Race:

'We had a long slow race but was good fun. We had 12 sail changes and being two handed wasn’t that great tacking out the harbour and out the channel. We beat for a large period of the race.

'We don’t have the ability to change sails with a straight peel so these changes were not fast at all. Looking forward to some more breeze in the Fiji race and get to open the boat up.'
