RORC Easter Challenge, five medals and more sailing news

What a week for UK sailors at the Trofeo SAR Princesa Sofia Mapfre, sailed on the Bay of Palma and third event in the ISAF World Sailing Cup.

Ed Wright took the Finn gold, Helena Lucas a silver in the 2.4mR Paralympic class, Chris Draper and Peter Greenhalgh silver in the 49er class. Stevie Morrison and-Ben Rhodes won the bronze. Bryony Shaw finished with a bronze in the RS:X windsurfing event. Great Britain was well represented at the event -well done to all competitors.

Back on the Solent the RORC Easter Challenge wrapped up, with TeamOrigin and Rán, among others, winning their divisions. We have reports and loads of great pictures from that event.

Meanwhile, 19 year old Oscar Mead announced his plans to enter the Velux 5 Oceans, Sir Robin Knox Johnston has been competing in the Rolex China Sea Race, the Clipper fleet is docking in San Francisco, the World Match Racing Tour 2010 kicks with Match Race France and Great Britain is second on the March releases of the ISAF World Sailing Rankings.
