See you at the Sydney Boat Show??

Sensation in the Southport race as race officials crack down on Radio sked breaches. Just 30 seconds on corrected time between the top boats, one of them bought off the shelf at last year's Sydney Boat Show.

If you go out to the Sydney Yachts stand and look at the Sydney 36CR you can see what a modern Australian built production cruiser race looks like. And while we are on the Buy Australian theme, take a look at the latest Seawind Cats. They are amongst our top marine exporters and it's easy to see why.

We will be at the boat show tomorrow and onwards and if you see me say hello.

Don’t want to scare any readers, so the picture I have included of me is small, but if we’ve never met introduce yourself.

While you are at the Show please stop by the Mariner Boating stand and say hello to Trevor and Maggie Joyce; they have just released their 2010 Sailing Holiday Brochure and it offers a feast of adventures.

The sailing world continues to move online. Sail-World this morning sets a new circulation record, its biggest month ever, even with three days to go.

We expect we will be nudging on 160,000 readers when the final numbers come in. While our origins are Australian, our content appeals to audiences world-wide.

You might think there is a lot of news on Sail-World Australia, but if you 'cruise' through the Cruising sites, onto Sail-World USA, UK, Europe, Asia, New Zealand you will find local stories on all our sites, just like you see on Sail-World Australia.

Independent metrics show our daily page views are now similar to Sailing Anarchy, which has been the Sailing website bench mark for many years; some days we are higher, some days lower. They certainly have more visitors each day going to their very popular forums, we go there too. But when it comes down to news, the world is coming to us more and more each day.

Around 12,500 people per day read our websites. To get your Event or Club news to the sailing world, just click on the link below and you can submit content straight into our database. Send your news and images directly to Sail-World by http://www.sail-world.com/admin/add_story.cfm!clicking_here

This facility is yours - for free. We're delighted if you use it, because we want to promote Australian sailing and Australian sailors. And yes, we're more than happy to give your sponsors a mention, because without them a lot of what does take place wouldn't.
