Earthrace breaks Round the World Record, but not licensed for sandwiches in Torquay  Earthrace Media

On the other side of the world, we discover Kiwi World record holder, the 78 footer trimaran Earthrace, that Powerboat worked with as the spent 60 days circling the globe is not licensed for sandwiches. On the racing front, Jotun has taken out the Romanian Grand Prix and is set for the next round in Egypt.

A UIM meeting in Europe has also flagged changes to the Class I rules, while closer to home we bring an early preview of the legendary E.C.Griffith Cup, the unlimited, unrestricted Australasian powerboat championship.

There is an impressive ‘fleet' of his luxury cruisers north on the annual ‘Maritimo Muster', the Powerboat-World team spent a few days onboard onboard a Maritimo 48 with Greg Alyward this week, the Muster leader and we will have more news from that event and and we report on the forthcoming Tige' Boats Gold Coast Poker Run.

And that's only some of the first class reading in this week's Powerboat-World.

Where else would you unearth powerboat news from all corners of the world?

Stay with us, it's where it all happens.
