We're in the news-desert now - it's summer in Asia which means that there are very few events on the calendar. The Volvo Race is over, and so is the Portimao Race. If you have any news from Club or Class racing - do let us know!

Next on the horizon is the Six Senses Phuket Raceweek, recently described by Yachtstyle magazine as "Asia's luxury regatta". There's no doubt that the Six Senses Evason Resort and Spa is one of the most delightful regatta venues in the region. Check it out on their website, and then find yourself a crew and register online... easy!

New World Champion takes the stage at Rolex Farr 40 Worlds

Porto Cervo laid it on thick and the Rolex Farr 40 Worlds 2009 delivered. Two races were sailed in winds from the northwest that gusted to the mid-twenties and stretched the already tired crews on the last day of competition. The final Volvo Ocean Race leg for Green Dragon
