SIBS ahoy! Finlease on chartering, Horizon star up for auction
Now counting the hours until SIBS, the BIA of NSW is confident that everything is on track – including the weather – for a successful show. Domenic Genua, the dynamic marketing and events manager and leader behind the show crew, assures us this morning that they're 60% complete in the convention centre and on-water. The skies are clear and (no jinxing) the forecast is for sunny, Sydney wintry days.
Along with all the previews and news from SIBS, this week we have great news from Azzura Marine who have been chosen to work on Trinity Yachts' latest project – a 57m luxury superyacht.
Our friends at Finlease reveal some of the ins and outs associated with chartering your boat. The Finlease team will be at its usual position on the marina, celebrating SIBS with the same cheer and hospitality, but this year with simple snags in a bun on offer for the company's traditional breakie.
Also this week, there's the latest from Marine Auctions & Valuations who will be auctioning the stunning 98 foot motor yacht that was the star of the 2008 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show, under instructions from Receivers. If you are keen to snap up a luxury Horizon Yacht for a fraction of its retail value, get along to the auction Saturday 19 September at 11am at the Rivergate Marina Complex in Brisbane.
The Bone family is headed south for Sydney en famille today, loaded ‘up to the gunwales' with camera, laptop, warm clothes, food, and all the hoo-ha that seems to go along with kids up on the roof racks, looking every bit like the Griswalds on Vacation.
If you see the Tetra team around the traps, say ‘hi' and tell us your observations of the show and the business. That's what we're here for!
Have a great show and keep up with all the happenings, innovations and impressions, right here online at each and every day at www.marinebusinessnews.com
