As the lightest weather Hamilton Island Race Week ever draws to a close, another giant 10 knot day again today and we will have lots of news in the next few hours, the focus is now starting to shift to the next Northern Regatta.

With 50 entries this year and 75 expected in 2010, Sunferries Magnetic Island Race Week has successfully tapped into the northern regatta circuit in just three years.

Some boats sailed at Meridien Marinas Airlie Beach Race Week and are cruising north now. Many have another day's racing at Hamilton Island and will head north on Monday or Tuesday. (You could still join the Magnetic Island adventure, go to www.magneticislandraceweek.com.au )

The common thread is sailed lots in the Whitsundays, looking for new adventures

We will be at Magnetic Island from mid-week and are looking forward to another laid back friendly regatta.
