MarineBusiness-World expands, Sail-World Canada and more

Welcome to our first edition under the new, global banner of MarineBusiness-World.com

We are in the process of adding five new sites to our stable, broadening our marine business scope beyond the Asia Pacific region to North America.

We are proud to announce we have teamed up with the top Canadian marine ink-and-paper publisher, Kerrwil Publications, who knows much of the growth in the future will be online and has joined forces with TetraMedia, recognising the strength of our international network.

Our first new North American site is www.Sail-World.com/Canada Have a look to see how the other half live.

We are now truly a worldwide news service. In business, particularly the marine kind, nothing happens in isolation. Trends, innovations, consumer patterns and markets are more international now than ever. We hope to be able to bring you relevant information you can use in your business from all corners of the globe.

Here in Australia the marine industry is firmly on the move. The flow of new advertisers and old advertisers expanding across Sail-World, Powerboat-World and MarineBusiness-World you will see over the coming days, is clear evidence of that.

If your organisation has not yet joined our client list, we recommend you call Phil Arane, our Media Sales specialist now on 0407 076 585.

News this week of the untimely and tragic deaths of two of sailing's brightest proponents, Andrew Short, a long-time friend of TetraMedia and veteran sailor, and the skilled navigator and passionate sailor, Sally Gordon.

Our condolences to their families, friends and colleagues. Bob Wonders, editor of Powerboat-World has been mates with Shortie for a few decades and writes the tribute to him in this issue.

Also this week plenty of new products, people moves and news from Genoa Int'l Boat Show that indicates better times may be ahead, and a preview of IBEX.

Please keep in touch and send us your industry news.
