Gold medals and lots of sailing news

Welcome to our Europe newsletter for this week

And what a big week with the Norwegian Class40 Solo getting the gun in the Shetland Round Britain & Ireland Race, the SuperYacht Cup underway in Palma, Nerone taking the lead at the Farr 40 European Circuit event and the latest Melges 32 Event having been sailed at the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda.

Paraleja Golf has taken the J80 European title, the Vuelta España a Vela, Round Spain Race next leg is about to start, Kieler Woche is continuing and the Portugal Match Cup is underway.

But for many the highlight of the week was Luigi Bertanza and Sylvia Parente (ITA) winning the gold medal at the first IFDS Blind Match Racing World Championship. Well done.

Lots of international news too. Enjoy.
