Plenty of local content in today's edition - mostly from overseas as the young New Zealand sailors report in, ahead of the many world and international championships which get underway in the next few weeks.

Coastguard Boating Education Services have announced a new range of courses, aimed at people who wish to tune up their skills, or obtain some new ones - over the winter.
From the deep South the Sail-Ski Regatta is on once again. In this edition we have the details of this unique New Zealand regatta - set in a winter paradise at Wanaka.

Air Force praises well equipped yachties after South Pacific rescue New Zealand Defence Force., The crew of an Air Force Orion aircraft from No 5 Squadron have successfully located a yacht after a distress beacon alert was received by the NZ Rescue Coordination Centre (NZRCC).
