Sydney boat show like 'the old days', brand launches, Green ban threat

Too much to report just the day after the Sydney International Boat Show - some boats haven't even left the marina and the clean up is still underway. But from first observations from organisers and exhibitors, it was a beauty!

Numbers were up, just slightly, but enough to say 'boating is back'! There were winners at the AIMEX awards, launches, lots of colour and movement among the adventure-themed show entertainment which enthralled visitors (and made them spend, evidently!)

So Sydney was a hit. Please enjoy the various profiles and stories we will present over the next weeks, highlighting some strategies and plans for brands large and small.

There is plenty going on beyond Harbour City, with big boat shows on the horizon in Cannes and Monaco, Fort Lauderdale and more. Plus we have an exclusive interview with the old-salt himself, Rob Mundle, who speaks about his 10th book launching at Christmas, and his Commodoreship at Southport Yacht Club.

Have a great week, please pop in to read about the innovations and stories that emerged from Sydney.
