Ensign expands, shows need your feedback, Torrens summer boat show

As we move in to the depths of southern hem winter, there's plenty to celebrate! It's a great time of year to get out on the water - no iceovers for a start, and balmy, temperate days up our way (Queensland, if you hadn't gathered!) So much news eminating from the sunny state: the Audi Sydney to Gold Coast race will be on again in July, Marine Qld is banding the industry together for a brainstorming session at a 'Marine Industry Emergency Revival Summit', Monday 11 July at Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre, South Bank.

Also united for a positive boost to boating, the Gold Coast marine industry will join forces for the inaugural Gold Coast Marine Expo, November 4, 5 and 6 at Gold Coast Marine Precinct, Coomera.

There's a lot to look forward to come the spring . . .

For your part, we need your comments and feedback on boat shows. For your trouble and short amount of time, you could win your whole family at holiday-boat-gear prize package worth $14,000+. From a tropical trip to Hayman Great Barrier Reef and a Zodiac RIB to Sperry shoes, Barz Optics sunglasses, apparel from Shock & Oar, groovy underwater video cameras, and safety equipment from RFD - you could be taking it all home! Just fill in the questionnaire about what makes a good boat show and how they could be better.

TetraMedia is poised to extend its global reach yet further, with the launch of Powerboat-World Canada and Sail-World Cruising Canada. More than 2 million unique boaties are already online on our sites each year. If you want them to know about your brand or boating product/service, get in touch.

We also want your news, so send me your story ideas and any comments editor@marinebusiness-world.com
