Starting tomorrow, it's about to get busy in Asia. From now until March next year the events are packed in like sardines, with everyone from Hong Kong to Phuket hoping for a good healthy blast of north easterlies to make their events really hum. We'll start with the China Coast Welcome Party tomorrow, and just take it from there.

Malaysian Match Racing Championship (MMRC) - Jeremy Koo (Abdullah Chan/KRT) emerged winner of the MMRC held at Ri-Yaz Heritage Spa and Resort in Pulau Duyong, Kuala Terengganu. Following a dramatic race to the finish, Koo emerged victorious and won the chance to represent Malaysia at the Monsoon Cup, which will take place at the same venue in Terengganu from 22nd to 27th November... WMRT Argo Group Gold Cup – The Wave Muscat won the Bermuda Gold Cup in fine form, defeating Sweden's Johnnie Berntsson in a closely fought finals that went right down to the wire. Both teams left the dock after the final of the RenaissanceRe Junior Gold Cup final, with The Wave Muscat up one point, having won the first race of the day sailed in the morning.... [more]

Clipper Round the World Yacht Race - The Australian team at the front of the fleet has switched overnight as South African skipper, Juan Coetzer, on Geraldton Western Australia conceded his lead to Australian skipper Richard Hewson on Gold Coast Australia.
