The Volvo Ocean Race fleet are currently en route to Auckland, New Zealand in Leg 4. Abu Dhabi Ocean Racing Azzam skipper, Ian Walker, referred to the day's racing as bizzare and said that 'Anybody looking at our tracks on the computer must think the navigators have gone mad – or that we do not know the way to Auckland. RORC Caribbean 600 - Has Rán clinched the overall title?

On day four of the RORC Caribbean 600, around noon, Niklas Zennstrom's JV52, Ran, appears to have clinched the overall win and will lift the sterling RORC Caribbean 600 Trophy at tomorrow night's prizegiving ceremony. This morning Scarlet Logic, co-skippered by Ross Applebey and Tim Thubron, was the only yacht which posed any sort of threat, but realistically the Oyster 48 will not cover... [more]

Sailing Arabia - The Tour Leg 4 win to Courrier Dunkerque

Sailing Arabia - The Tour - Leg four was frustratingly slow for the fleet but despite a lack of wind for most of the leg, the battle on the water was no less tense. Arriving in daylight for the first time, the fleet entered Omani waters in the early hours of this morning, and after sailing 278 kilomteres from Ras Al Khaimah to Musandam, many of the teams found themselves match racing to the line.... Etchells World Championship - The overall leader name may have changed but the racing is far from complete. The top of the 74-boat scoreboard is very tight after six races and one drop. Lincoln Week Regatta - Darryl Hodgkinson's Beneteau First 45 Victoire, from the Cruising Yacht Club of Australia in Sydney, has won the 'grand prix' IRC division after a great boat-on-boat duel with Alan Woodward's Beneteau First 45 from Royal Brighton Yacht Club, Melbourne. They've matched race in every race of the six-race series and in the end Victoire won by a single point from Reverie.... [more]
