Five times Laser World Champion Tom Slingsby who sailed his medal race with a strapped ankle, after rolling it the night before, is skipping the upcoming AC45 event and will no doubt very keen to produce his winning form at Sail for Gold in Weymouth.
Starting the way they no doubt mean to go on 470 World Champions Matt Belcher and Malcolm Page won their first race at the 2012 Worlds in Barcelona and dual Olympic Gold medallists Elise Rechichi and Belinda Stowell took a fifth.
