Northwest Passage Yachts trapped, Shag Is. Yacht Club, dinghy cruising
King George Falls anchorage - where the dream turned into a nightmare .. .
For comic relief you should read about Queensland's recent Shag Islet Club Rendezvous – a rendezvous for one of the zaniest sailing clubs in the world – but certainly celebrating the egalitarianism which is a feature of all good cruising communities. Dinghy cruising - always an adventure .. .
There's a timely reminder about how to care for the pet you take sailing with you; we show some of the splendid sailing craft showing at this year's so-glamorous Monaco Yacht Show; and there's an inspiring tale of a solo sailor, rolled at Cape Horn on his last aborted attempt, who has just set out to do it all again.
