It has often been said that the Raja Muda Selangor Regatta is “not a sprint or even a series of sprints, but a marathon”. This is very true. The Regatta Director asked me this morning what day it is – I had to look at my watch. It is Sunday, meaning that the entertaining and thoroughly challenging event that runs from Port Klang to Pangkor to Penang and then Langkawi is now over for another year. Last night a new Raja Muda champion lifted the trophy – see below for a full set of regatta reports.
Hong Kong sailor Karl Kwok has launched a new Botin 80', and at the same time is cleaning up yet another stage of the TP52 Southern Cross Series in Australia. We have some interesting post-AC stories, and interviews with Tom Slingsby and Iain Percy. It's always interesting to hear it from the horse's mouth.
Back to the editing desk now in an attempt to finish and pack away all the Raja Muda photography, and make space for next week's Phuket King's Cup!
